Web Design Engineer:

Required Skills for this Web Design Engineer includes the following:

PHP Programmer, PHP Developer, PHP Engineer, LAMP Programmer, LAMP Developer, LAMP, PHP, Web Developer, Webmaster, Web Programmer

• At Least 3-5 years experience coding for IE6, E7 Firefox and Safari browsers, using CSS, XHTML, HTML, JavaScript and DHTML.
• Intelligent and creative thinker who learns quickly.
• Able to produce quality code at a reasonable pace consistently over time.
• Self-starter.
• Able to collaborate in a team and champion important issues tactfully.
• Strongly cares about the user's experience.

Bonus Skills:

• Experienced Coder with good programming habits developed over time by shipping real products to real people
• Able to think through and design for all use cases, even when they are not completely documented in a spec
• Coding experience in XSLT and C#
• Familiarity with:
  • Actionscript (Flash programming language)
  • Manual AJAX (as opposed to drag-and-drop AJAX tools)
  • Web page performance tuning
  • Content publishing systems
  • Automated builds
  • Shipping localized and globalized products
  • Scrum development methodology

PHP Senior Programmer:

Required Skills for this PHP Senior Programmer includes the following:

PHP Programmer, PHP Developer, PHP Engineer, LAMP Programmer, LAMP Developer, LAMP, PHP, Web Developer, Webmaster, Web Programmer

• 5-7 years PHP
• Thorough understanding of object oriented programming
• Thorough understanding of database concepts and principles (specifically with exposure to MySQL 4.x)
• Knowledge of a UNIX type operating system (preferably Linux)
• Knowledge and practical experience with JavaScript
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities

Job Description:

We are a LAMP shop, utilizing redhat, apache, MySQL. The desired candidate will be a well-rounded in internet-based development tools and conversant in modern software engineering concepts. Tasks will include analysis and design, front end/UI coding and integration, database scripting and manipulation, backend/server coding, and technical issue resolution.

Flash/ActionScript Programmer:

Required Skills for this Flash Programmer includes the following:

Actionscript 2.0 & Actionscript 3.0, PHP, , XHTML, HTML, mySQL, CSS

• 2 - 5 years with Actionscript 2.0, Actionscript 3.0 a plus
• Thorough understanding of object oriented programming
• Thorough understanding of database concepts and principles (specifically with exposure to MySQL 4.x)
• Thorough understanding of Movieclip tween classes and efficiencies
• Thorough understanding of local based application vs. web based application execution
• Excellent ability to conceptualize user interface design in the emergent web 2.0 area and with widgets/gadgets
• Experience with contemporary web design, preferably experience with social communities or banner ad design
• Expertise in developing simple user interfaces managing complex underlying behavior
• Comfortable using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash to mock up or modify graphic assets on the fly
• Ability to take direction from Creative Director and or lead designers to help them conceptualize interface design with flash capabilities
• Work well with all members of the team
• Help mentor flash designers to help boost their knowledge of AS 2.0 & 3.0
• Experience with AMFPHP Gateway, MDM Zinc a HUGE plus

Job Description:

This is a programming position not a flash designer position. If you are interested in a flash designer position you need not apply to this. You will be responsible for working with creative directors, interface designers, production artists and the other members of the software engineering team to develop user interface prototypes and high quality production software. You will help oversee and spec out hardware for kiosk based applications. You will assist of solely design databases to work with your applications.
